The primary purpose:
Reinforce the bellows against internal pressure.
Material:
Equalizing rings: Cast Iron, Steel, Stainless Steel or other suitable alloys. approximately “T” shaped in cross section.
Reinforcing or root rings: Tubing or Solid Round Bars of Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel or other suitable alloys.
